I read at least two reviews for this book a fews months ago, always meant to buy it, but then forgot. Now I can’t remember the title or the author.

I do remember that it was a comedy/humourous novel. The rough plot outline was some guy discovering a lost tribe of Brits in a jungle somewhere, who were still effectively living in the 1950s. He becomes their leader, goes back the UK, and becomes prime minister (I think. I suppose there is a chance I am muddling up two different books, but I hope not).

Does this ring any bells for any (most probably UK) SDMB members?

Many thanks in advance!

Could it be [Speak for England](http://books.guardian.co.uk/reviews/generalfiction/0,6121,1385328,00.html) ? I don’t _think_ it’s available in the US yet.
