Yesterday afternoon my husband and I were driving behind this strange, ugly car that I’ve never seen before. It looked like it _could_ be a luxury vehicle and the only identifying marks on its rear were: [ul] [li] A black oval in the center with a strike-through R. Looked like this --\> (-R-)[/li][li]“supercharged” (i think) was on the right side in relatively small font.[/li][li]It had that scrunched up rear similar to the rear of a [Jag S-Type](http://www.familycar.com/RoadTests/JaguarS-Type/Images/RightRear.jpg)[/li][/ul] I don’t know why it’s driving me so bonkers, but I’ve never seen that automobile logo before and now I just _have_ to know what it is. Any ideas? ---

The Riviera is one of the “inverted teardrop” coupes GM built in the late 90s. The design was created to make the Monte Carlo a more competitive race car. Unfortunately, applying Buick styling to it results in a Buick Riviera. ---
