# Please help me identify this obscure children's book!

I didn’t want to bring up an old thread that was 3 pages long, so please bear with me.

I’m trying to find the name and author of a children’s book that my boyfriend read when he was in grade school. All he can remember about it was that it took place on Krakatoa, before it blew up. He said he thought he remembered something about a secret society.

Can anyone help me? Thank you ever so much.
