I’ve seen them growing in a couple of places around town. It’s a perennial, with many strong green stalks more than six feet tall, growing from a single plant. On the end of most stems is a round, many petaled white flower three or four inches across. Looks like some sort of a lily or iris. I think I have these growing in my yard! But a close-up of the flower would help, as \*\*twickster \*\*said. ---

I don’t have a close-up. It looks similar to a daisey, IIRC. White with many petals. they’re quite large, and only one on the end of each stem. ---

Not really like a daisy. The striations fooled these old eyes. Damn! I’m not much for plant identification, but I knew the moment I saw the close up of the flower. Too bad it already got answered…
