Thank you. I did see the weird Tumblr exchange, where he said someone had gotten their views there, then he cited to Tumblr. Now I wonder how many people _don’t_ have a bachelor’s degree in history. 😃 ---

Elliot Rogers wasn’t an MRA. He subscribed to “pickup artist” related forums, in particular one called “PUAhate” (pick-up artistry hate) because he apparently didn’t find it effective. Those have nothing to do with mens-rights activism. ---

You’re reading way too much into my post. I read what you said about PUA and added more info. I don’t hold anyone responsible for what anyone else says; that’s LinusK’s bag. Many are among the forefront of the current Men’s Rights Movement. Men On Strike, which is currently the most mainstream literature about the problems facing men today, was written by a woman. Roosh is associated with Return of Kings? Well, it’s good to get all the creeps in one place, I guess. As for the GD thread, I don’t remember saying anyone wasn’t a true feminist, just a feminist I don’t agree with. I know nothing about Elliot Rodger, however, other than what I remember being reported. I didn’t follow the story in the slightest. Is being an MRA something someone would have to declare? If so, and he didn’t, I don’t see any reason to label him that way. ---

But whatever else he is, you’re only going to mention those things you want to tar with his actual brush: ‘pick-up artist’. I find them a distasteful breed, but certainly no more so than deluded feminist harpies who think the ‘manosphere’ is out to get them. You wouldn’t be trying to imply that all anti-feminists are all MRAs are all pick-up artists are all misogynists are all subhuman are all only good for the ovens would you now… Personally, I wouldn’t propose the legalisation of rape, but I wouldn’t propose the criminalisation of speech and ideas either.
