# Please make edit time longer during the Era of Repeated Timeouts

With all these timeouts, often the board will not let you back in to make corrections/edits within the 5-minute window. That just happened to me and it has happened repeatedly.

PLEASE???

I’m pretty sure this has been ruled out in the many other threads asking for this. No rocking this leaky boat, the focus is on getting an entirely new forum software, which is in the works (eventually) and will resolve all of the problems we are having.

If you get bit by the timeout bug, just report the post and we will fix it for you. Be very specific about what you want changed and exactly what you want it changed to so that ideally we can just copy and paste your changes in.

What happened? I have been reading and posting for a couple or hours this afternoon and have not a timeout. Have the problems been solved?

Dangit, the board craps out just long enough for me to miss the edit window. Really, just change the time limit.
