The neighbors upstairs have a nordic track (or some sort of nordic-track like exercise machine) and they have been using it for damn near an hour! That thing is so damn loud, I can hear it clearly through the floor. Ugh! At least they are not doing it at 1 in the morning like last time. I can hear it from every room in my apartment. I am trying to watch Friends! Make it stop before I go insane!! ---

Put up with it for a week or so. Pretty soon, they’ll be using it to hang their clothes on, then it’s off to the consignment shop. Trust me on this one… ---

Arrgg, now it is almost midnight and they are playing Norah Jones’ “Don’t know why” really loudly. I mean, I really like that song, but come on…blast your music during the day. Actually, now that I think of it, I think these people like to make noise. At 7:30 in the morning, someone wakes up and turns on the TV really really loud. It’s blaring, when the men talk, I can hear the boom of the bass. Maybe they are hard of hearing. ---

That’s why I love living in the boonies. Our nearest neighbor is way down the hill. We can cut the grass at 7:00 am. We can sit around the bonfire naked. We can have lots of motorcycle friends come over. I can play Grammy Award Winner, where I crank the stereo, stand on the picnic table (with an empty pop bottle) and belt out songs. And no one gives a flyin’ fuck. It’s truly heavenly. ---

Man, I am soooooo glad I don’t live in an apartment anymore. 😉 At least you don’t have to listen to thick, heavy Techno bass lines. Those sounds penetrate through everything. All you hear is “WAHHNT-WOOO-WAAAA-WUP-BAH-WOOP”; Constantly, it never stops. It slowly permeates into your brain, prevently you from thinking about anything else. You tell the neighbors to stop. They laugh and turn it up even louder. Pretty soon you are legally insane!
