My [old faithful](http://www.amazon.com/Acuvibe-AV-1002CP-Touch-cordless-massager/dp/B000E7SWQS) has died. It has served me well, but I’m curious about what else may be just as good or better. I’m between friends myself at the moment. My old faithful was an ancient corded [Silver Bullet](http://www.amazon.com/Powerful-Silver-Bullet-Battery-Massager/dp/B000MQJIXC/ref=sr_1_1/102-3726372-0803316?ie=UTF8&s=hpc&qid=1176919299&sr=1-1) which, very unfortunately, exposed its wires at one point and gave me quite a nasty shock at the absolute worst time possible. :eek: is an understatement! Okay, it depends on what you’re looking for. Do you want something for clitoral stimulation or do you want something you can…er, insert? Is your clitoris overly sensitive or do you like the vibe to have strong, intense vibrations? These are all important questions. Personally, I like clitoral stimulation and strong vibrations, so I make do with a $10 one I got at an adult store. Best I’ve had so far. I own one and it’s good. The cord can become a problem at times. :eek: My recommendation is to get a bunch of different types for variety! There’s a great online store that is very discreet. [/QUOTE] I’d stay away from the Hitachi Magic Wand, then, as I’ve heard that it’s too strong for someone with a sensitive clitoris. If you wanna buy online, there’s a ton of good places. I, personally, prefer going to adult stores because they’ll open them right there and let you see how fast it goes and whether it works. I’ve had my crappy $10 one for like five, and it’s still goin’ strong (no pun intended, har har). If you’re easily embarrassed talking about sexual stuff, online is the best way to go. A fellow doper showed me a really good discounted online store where a $50 vibe went for about $20; when she gets back online I’ll get the link for you. Otherwise, I still suggest going to a store. The people there know their stock and stuff. Just ask them what you’re looking for in a vibrator and they can generally guide you in the right direction, especially if it’s a girl. Simple, not too powerful: the Pocket Rocket by Doc Johnson (one speed version); multiple speed version: the Pocket Rocket Plus. Two newer favorites: the Retractable Heart Massager by California Exotics, and the Lucid Dreams number 14 by Doc Johnson. Less expensive version (but still really powerful and electric) of the Hitachi Magic Wand (and it has 4 attachments, sold separately): the Magic Massager by Topco Sales. ---
