Early this morning US time, my **Fierra** was taken by ambulance to the hospital for carbon monoxide poisoning. She was treated for it and eventually released, and will be heading home soon. She still is feeling _very_ under-the-weather, as can be expected. Can people please send her some get-well wishes? Una ---

Well, I don’t want to go into the details of how I found out, as it is too traumatic for me to relate. How it happened - she has been running her heater lately (stupid cold-ass English weather, in **July** of all times!) and well, the heater isn’t doing too well evidently…shudder. Like I posted in GQ - I was about to go flying over there later this afternoon if I didn’t get some assurance that she was alright. Shit, if the Concorde was running again out of New York I would have cashed in all my BA air miles to upgrade to a Concorde ticket over there, just so I could cut 3 hours off of the trip… Damn, I was so scared!!! ☹ ---

I’m OK now, guys - your concern should be towards my poor little **Fierra**. I did learn that I have the ability to scream at police officers in other countries to get them to do things they are reluctant to do. I re-affirmed that when someone I love is threatened, one **does not** get in my way. **Fierra** was able to get the ambulance to come by herself, so she didn’t do too badly. She should be heading home at this moment, in fact. ---
