Yes, basically, if you seek to avoid conflict directed at you then you must seek to avoid conflict. I think that is, shall we say, self-evident. It is even more evident that you feel the people you do engage are fools, in which case they surely will not kindly receive your corrections (in whatever form those take). No?
You do get a seemingly disproportionate amount of, er, abuse… but then, we don’t often post in the same threads so I cannot say whether it is or is not warranted.

I should add that what pit therads I _do_ read about you are indicative of irrationality, and hence, IMo, unwarranted. I simply get the feeling this isn’t a rant related specifically to pit threads.
