# Please Vote For Me - I'm The Finalist in a Parody Contest and could really use the $$

I recently entered a local parody contest and could really use your votes. One of the prizes is $500 - and I’m going to be unemployed for 2 weeks (plant shut down and I’m a contractor - no pay) so I could really, really use your votes.

I certainly understand the desire to win the contest, but we don’t allow call-to-action or vote-for-me threads. If you think an exception is in order, you’re welcome to ask a mod beforehand; otherwise, we’ll close them down pretty quickly.
