Before I let this one slide into the archives, I wanted to ask for some suggestions of you.
I tried something different this time around - I left available period of time open for almost a full week, in the hopes that that would lead to greater participation. Perhaps I should have given more warning about that, or emphasized it more… I like the idea of a longer time period for people to find an uninterrupted hour.
In general, I’ve been finding around a half week’s notice seems to work out, though this time around, it seemed like this one was a bit of a surprise. I’m open to anybody’s suggestions as to how to let more interested parties know about the Sweatshops. So far, I’ve been counting on the Logistics Thread itself, along with PMs to any of the writers who have contributed/expressed interest before, to do all the work. Is there anything else y’all think I should try? I’m open to your collective input.
