Please join me in welcoming the newest addition to the SDMB moderating staff, Aspenglow. She’ll be moderating in Politics & Elections, In My Humble Opinion, and Quarantine Zone. Please cut her some slack while she learns the ropes; reality will sink in soon enough. ---

Thanks, @Ed_Zotti, I appreciate the intro and especially the “slack cutting” entreaty. I’ll do my best to get up to speed quickly and make myself useful. @What_Exit and @kenobi_65, I’m honored to help – but it will take a little time before I’m actually helping, I think. I’ll likely drive the other mods mad with many questions for awhile. 🙂 ---

Welcome! I have added your name to the appropriate mod lists. For those that aren’t aware, there is a list of all moderators in the FAQ and each forum also has a sticky post that contains a list of mods for that forum/category. And just a reminder that the newest mod has to clean the hamster cages. ---

Oooohh… you’re in it now. The over/under is 5 days til the first ATMB thread calling you out on some piece of moderation. Good luck! Ps: I hope you continue posting as a member. You’re one of the smarter cookies in this jar of smart cookies! ---

That is step two, after hamsters, but before the squid. **Aspenglow** will need some time to get it right. ---

Ah, thank god, another sacrifice, I mean, another helpful mod to keep us from tearing each other to bits with snark! Thank you for what will likely be an otherwise thankless task. ---
