Some of you may not know her: Medea’s Child (Kathryn) is a new poster, an extremely friendly, bright lady with the kindest of hearts. (She sent me a picture; trust me, she’s also very attractive) But she’s also a very courageous and brave individual, as you’ll see if you read this thread: [http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=27901](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?threadid=27901) Despite the tender years, she’s been through a lot, especially recently, but she never fails to retain a cheerful attitude and upbeat demeanor. She’s a new friend, but some who I already hope stays my friend, and sticks around on the board, for a long time. She turns 19 on July 3rd, and since the board will be down for a period of time, I thought I’d start this thread early. Please join me in wishing a very special lady a very happy birthday! Reason number trwo for starting this thread today is that Kathryn (Medea’s Child) will be away visiting a friend for a while this coming week.
