Hard to say. It sounded like these three weasels would Talk the Talk but not Walk the Walk. They would not, according to their testimony, have participated in a plan to kidnap the Governor because it sounded “dumb,” regardless of their political leanings. Sounds like they have a hunk of brain, unlike most of their brethren. Granted, I want to stomp the MAGA movement into the mud and inoculate this country against domestic terrorism as much as the next guy. But maybe having these guys dodge a major bullet by the skin of their teeth will teach them a lesson. Of course, knowing some of these buttwipes, they’ll feel invincible because they got acquitted. ---

Whitmer is surprised Trump lied to her. You can’t process that he’s a liar? Come on, Gretchen, do you know how stupid that sounds? Say something more realistic like “I had hoped the dementia would be strong this morning and he’d forget he said it, but I guess he was just being his typical slimy lying self when he told me he’d drop it.” ---

I have been lukewarm regarding Whitmer being a strong choice for Democrats in 2028. The credulity on display in both of these stories from the Governor makes me confident I am correct Whitmer would be a very poor choice. ---

I don’t think she’s the right person for the job, or even the nomination myself. She should stay where she is. ---
