# Plz help me sort out my allergic reaction problem...

I have had this occur to me twice: puffiness in face, migraine type headache, red splotches (like freckles) around my eyes. This goes on for several hours and then I vomit.

The first time this happened when I had some white wine followed by seafood. This second time happened after I had two mixed drinks (spaced over 2 hours) followed by a small portion of perch. Originally, I was thinkig it was the white wine itself. I know some people have an issue with it. But, I have had several glasses with other foods and nothing like above happened. Aside from some puffiness and what not. But, nothing really major. Then, I was thinking that it cold be perch. I looked back at the menu for the first time and indeed I had perch. I have looked online but information is somewhat scarce or I don’t know what to plug in to find what I want.

What are you asking? Hie thee to an allergist at once! If not, be prepared to abstain from all alcohol and all things that swim (although I was under the impression that shellfish and finfish were not the same thing, allergy-wise), unless you are prepared to either carry an epi-pen with you everywhere or (perhaps) just die.

You’re not going to get a factual answer from strangers on a message board. Allergies can be life threating. Get to a doctor. When you find out what the cause is, start a thread in MPSIMS and tell us about it.
