I’ll try to make this one. I don’t mind being the token conservative! Let me know when and where. Once again I’ll volunteer to carpool to Seattle from the southern environs. I’m not as far south as Olympia (I’m in Kent) but I’ll be happy to meet at a Park 'n Ride somewhere are share rides from there. **Scotti** – check out the earthquake threads. A lot of local dopers turned up there that I didn’t know about. Ooh! Ooh! If I say first, do we have to go where I say? **Buca de Beppo’s!!** The food is great and the atmosphere is fun fun fun! You can even have a food fight if you want! They don’t care! They encourage it! Whew! I’m calm again. May I suggest…? ---

I’m planning on the summer one, **silent-rob,** we’ll do it again when you come out. Maybe we can coordinate it so **Odieman** is here the same time. Why, thank you scotticher. I haven’t been to Seattle in ages, and I have friends up there I would love to see. And some new friends to meet, apparently! Guess I’ll have to shave my legs and rustle up some pantyhose… My self-inflicted dig about ‘Orygun’ comes from years of people in more metropolitan areas considering us to be Neanderthals. That we spend our time tree hugging and making leather from Bigfoot hides. Tain’t true! We’ins gots us the innernet! Now if I can just find that post-button-thingy… ---

Beppo’s is pretty casual – jeans and T-shirts are fine. I think they have the usual “No shoes, no shirt, no service” rule, but that’s about it. And **truthbot** , Beppo’s is dark and Seattle is pretty hair-friendly, so you can probably skip the leg-shaving. We can compare! 😉 What about Sunday March 25? That should give us all enough time to plan. FYI, Beppo’s is open noon to 10 p.m. on Sundays. If we meet at, say, 2:00 or 3:00, we can bypass both the lunch and dinner crowds. Jeyen ---

Midafternoon works best for me, and I should be free (but not cheap) on March 24–unless a work meeting gets changed yet again. I don’t go up to Seattle too often, so directions would be appreciated, once we’ve offically set the location. ---

I don’t want to keep being difficult here, but it has been my experience that we may get more attendees if we give people a little more notice than the 24th. But that date works for me if no one wants to wait any longer. And midafternoon works well for me and (if I may speak for him) **rjk**. That way if he needs to take the bus to Bellingham, we have plenty of time to get back here for him to catch the last bus home. I am assuming that he will want to drive down with me.
