You know what sucks? I’ll tell you what sucks… I was sitting here at home all ready to go out… but I kept on telling myself that I had something else to do… but I couldn’t remember what it was. I carefully refrained from making plans for some reason… and I didn’t remember that reason until I saw this thread… at 11:15pm… Damn… -n ---

Hey **Niggle**? Ya snooze, ya lose! 😃 Seriously, I had a great time. Sorry to have missed meeting all of the LocalDope representatives, but a choice evening nonetheless. Hey, **rjk** , I got there before **Flam**. Sheesh! How soon they forget! Well, real life intrudes and I gotta go feed stuff. Thanks for a night to remember. ---

Sorry, **zoogirl**! It was late. And **Niggle** , sticky notes work! Hope to see you next time. ---

Yeah, I might have got there earlier had I not decided to stall at Future Shop and buy a CD. (and for some reason, I can’t play the CD because it autoruns all the enhanced features, which sucks) But at least I was more or less on time! 😃 Defintiely a good time seeing **rjk** and **Scotticher** again, and meeting **zoogirl** and **Zyada**. Good eats and great fun, indeed. And was I more myself this time, **rjk**? 😛 (like less quiet?) F\_X ---

I would have come, but I was/am too sick to come to the dinner, and I would’ve probably made you all sick. Very sorry. ---

I got back from Sakuracon in Seattle at around 8ish and was just bushed. After I dropped my daughter off I went to bed. The Spirit was willing, but the flesh was weak. ---

So, when and where will those pictures show up? Are our smilin’ faces gonna grace the 'net soon? I couldn’t get on the 'net until just now. Mr zoogirl crashed the computer. He blamed me, of course, but I’d NEVER do that… I was going to post Sunday to say - (sorry it’s late) - HAPPY BIRTHDAY rjk !!! 🙂 ---

Sounds like a good time. FWIW, my cousin was well and truly surprised by his birthday party. I think it’s the first birthday party he’s had family at (bei]sides his mother) since he was two years old. ---

Well! I finally managed to get the group shot online. Only one came out at all, fortunately, it was the one with all of us! [Vancouver dopefest group](http://pages.prodigy.net/zyada/_images/vanc_2003/dopefest%20group.jpg) ---

Looks like a great picture! (only I look really bad in it, as I do in most pictures…) Great memories, though! 🙂 F\_X [Previous page](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/pnw-dopers-im-gonna-be-in-vancouver/160323.md?page=4)
