Podcasts

I used to listen to quite a few comedy podcasts, but have mostly given up on them all.

I’m not really sure why, either. Maybe just the recent proliferation has burned me out?

Anyone else have this experience?

I’m now back to listening to music, with only a few news podcasts mixed in (and an occasional other podcast to try out).

Sorry to sidetrack, but again curious about it.

There really is something for everyone.

You would like:

I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue (which has been going for 40 years)
The Unbelievable Truth (David Mitchell adjudicating lying)
So Wrong It’s Right (Charlie Brooker)
The Museum of Curiosity (by the QI team)
I’ve Never Seen Star Wars (Marcus Brigstocke asks celebs to try new things)
The 99p Challenge (my gateway drug to a lot of contemporary UK comedians)

Mostly for comedy

Robert Kelly , You Know What Dude?
Rich Vos and Bonnie Macfarland , My Wife Hates Me.
Jay Mohr, Mohr stories.

I do like Joe Rogan’s podcast when he is being funny or talking issues. Too often it is just boring pot talk and high philosophy. I had enough of that in college.

Psuedopod is pretty consistently good if you like horror stories. Their sister podcast Escape Pod is also good if your taste runs more to science fiction.

I’d check out some of the other threads we’ve had.

Skeptoid is excellent. As are many of the BBC Radio 4 podcasts.
