# Police officer disciplined for not reporting racial slurs

Now I rarely delve into this area, but this story just leaves me baffled. So apparently the premise of this piece is that a black police officer, Dameian Muirhead, is facing misconduct charges for not investigating racial taunts made against him at a party he was investigating.

So uh…is it against the law to ignore threats against you now, or am I missing something?
