Threads like this is why I’m always scratching my head at the idea that the SDMB is some hot bed of liberalism. ---

Apparently it went both ways (obligatory SNL clip): [Tenement Museum - SNL - YouTube](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-jaqg-NMz9A), but as someone upthread said it best the target of the jokes varied depending on one’s background but the punchline was the same. ---
