It should be, “Ace is the place where they’ll have no idea how to help you, but they’ll charge you double and it will break in a week.”
I didn’t realize it was ever “man.” I’m sure I’ve been hearing the current version of the jingle on the radio for at least a decade.

The jingle just changed in my area. It’s been around for as long as I can remember and I’m 47. The change does not flow well with the jingle and that’s what makes it PC. They ruined a melodic jingle instead of creating a new one. 10 minutes of brainstorming could have created a better sounding version.
I was surprised to find out that they changed it many years ago and that in the ensuing years have not tried to fix a crappy jingle.

I think maybe you think “PC” means something other than what it means.
