I wish it didn’t. Thankfully, Americans aren’t dying. If they do, we should get out immediately (we should be out anyway, but especially if Americans are dying). It’s not worth a single American life.

The important thing to remember here is that both sides do it, and that’s why all of this casts a shadow over Clinton’s campaign.

What’s your point? The OP’s point is that Republicans (other than Romney, McCain, Rubio, etc) don’t do what Dems do.

The only possible responses to “only one side does this bad thing!!1!” is either “both sides actually do it” or “you’ve misidentified the side that does that bad thing.”

This is too charitable. I’d need to see evidence of them professing belief in evolution away from the campaign trail. Even people who have taken college level biology courses can be YECs.

This reminded me of how some liberals think Obama is secretly an atheist because he’s too smart to be Christian.
