Bur bear with me for a minute. The OP asks why would someone with a ton of money vote for the democrats. I say that for the same reason someone with no money might vote for the republicans: because they sincerely think those who they vote for have the best solutions for the country. That is what I think and I disagree with those who are more cynical and believe people only vote in their own selfish self interest.
And you call me biased and cynical? So what you are saying is that those who vote like you are all intelligent and honest, and those who don’t are either selfish or stupid?
sailor, you should know by now that if liberals vote the pary line, they are “making a stand for what is right.” But if republicans vote along party lines they are guilty of “partisan politics.”
I believe that it doesent matter what they do but how they do it. The ideas are equal in merit, but how they are carried out determines how well they do.
