While I do think that the gov’t has gone too far in destroying our privacy in this “war”, I don’t think anyone will piece together someone’s identity and launch an investigation because they admitted to using an illegal drug in the past! Alcohol, starting at age 16 (and I’m American.) Yay for alcohol. Marijuana - just once, would do it again if the opportunity came up, but it wasn’t really a big deal. My spatial perception got a bit wonky, and I was fairly giggly. That’s it. And I strongly suspect the giggliness was just power of suggestion. Caffeine. Never did a damn thing to me. I can drink several espresso shots and go right to sleep. Nicotine. I’m one of those rare people who experimented with smoking for several months, decided it was a boring and expensive hobby and quit with no trouble at all. I’ll still smoke on rare occasions - usually when I’m out drinking. Never experienced the slightest craving for a cigarette, and if I ever do I’m stopping for good right there. That’s all, and I probably won’t try any more - definitely nothing that needs to be snorted or injected, at least. I am kind of intrigued by ecstacy, but scared also - that kind of deep spiritual happiness y’all talk about, well, it’s attractive, but I can completely see where I could get addicted to that.
