Not necessarily; I weigh about 115 lbs. and am definitely not old. I do concede that I do the aforementioned “semi-stand”, so maybe that doesn’t count.

Just when I thought this place couldn’t surprise me anymore…  
I’ve NEVER heard of standing while wiping. Being a girl and attending girl restrooms in gaggles, I’ve seen plenty of women wiping - the only occasions where wiping occurred while standing was when one was in a hurry to free the toilet for friend waiting.  
Wow.

Oh, if there’s a poll going on:  
Seated wiper, back to front (carefully), from behind. I wipe at least 3 times after #2 and have yet to try wet wipes.
