Any day with an armadillo is a good day.
My hotel in Paris managed to squeeze a toilet, bidet, shower and sink into a single room. I don’t know about a hair dryer (since I don’t use one).
I’ve seen it several times. I didn’t vote in the other poll since it didn’t have an option of “If I feel like it I drink coffee whie taking a dump.”
There are also some where there is a door separating the bathroom from the main room, and then another door inside the bathroom separating the toilet from the sink and shower.
I’m posting this from a hotel room now, and mine is exactly like that. Now, this hotel has a lot of families with kids, and I can see the benefit of a parent being able to poop while the kid is brushing, or vice versa.
Actually I have a suite, with two bathrooms, neither of which has a coffee maker inside. Mine is by the sink in the living area.
I don’t remember ever having seen a bathroom in a less classy place with a coffee maker - there is little enough room on the counter as it is. I don’t make hotel coffee unless I’m pretty desperate, so I might have seen one sometime and never thought twice about it.
I’ve seen it in the bathroom before, and I happen to know that it was cleaned when the bathroom was cleaned. It’s in the bathroom because that’s where the water is.
If it’s just in the room, I’m a little more worried about it. Especially at places where the pot is wrapped in plastic when you get there, as that implies they think that’s the only thing that needs to be cleaned.
