Please provide at least three examples. Be sure to include evidence that it was a cover for a stupid remark. Shouldn’t be a problem if you’ve seen it several times.
I thought you claimed last time it was to cover up breaking the rules? :dubious:
Someone should start a thread to gather input about what answers people would want in a poll about what posters mean when they say “whoosh”.
Moderator Note
The topic of this thread is a potential poll regarding zombie responses to new users resurrecting old threads. Let’s all focus on that please.
Then I’m against it.
As am I. Putting moderator decisions up for a vote, even if it is non-binding, is absurd. Unless the administration is looking for ways to undermine its authority, I guess.
Really? I think that wise leaders are often interested in the thoughts of those who they lead and sometimes informed by them.
Knowing what the governed believe and desire as one governs does not undermine the authority of those who govern; it allows them to govern other than capriciously.
That’s what this forum already gives them. People can come here and, like we’re doing now, make their feelings on how the board is run known. What do you gain from a poll? A non-representative percent that people can point to instead.
It will be interesting when posters feel like they’ve been treated unjustly and they use a poll to argue their case.
Let’s have a Zombie fiesta!
Moderator Action
Yeah, let’s not.
Since we already have two polls running (which is one more than is probably necessary), I don’t see any need to keep discussing poll development on that topic.
