Ok, don’t think that **Angry Lurker** doesn’t listen to constructive criticism ladies and gents! Brief summary: Stoid is litigating a case. Obsessively. Like a nutter. She’s already lost the first stage and is running the appeal herself. And entirely ignoring lawyers, except when she does get advice: and when she does get advice she hates it and pits them. The TLDR nature of the above thread is part of its appeal, actually. It goes on, and on, and on… I find such threads both soothing and amusing in equal measure, which is why I am mostly a lurker. I strongly recommend reading it if you do have the time 🙂 Ah, but the opposing party is her ex boyfriend. So: Nutter versus Boyfriend. Bunny boiler, yep. ---

[unabashed hijack]I thought Michael Douglas was a smarmy dickwad in that flick. It wasn’t fair to the little kid that her bunny got boiled, but Close’s character hit the nail on the head with, “I won’t be ignored.” Moral: don’t boil his baby’s bunny, boil his balls![/uh] ---

Telling her she’s coming across as somewhat obsessive and off balance in the original thread is one thing , starting a whole new thread to pile on to what is in many ways a pretty sad and desperate situation for her is playground bullying and piling on. ---

I think the whole point has been missed in that thread. The lawyer’s refusal to talk to her has nothing whatsoever to do with the distinction between advice and information. It has everything to with attorneys choosing not to engage with lunatics because it isn’t good for business. All of those pages and I am not even sure whether she is offering to pay for this advice that is not forthcoming or if she is wandering around attorneys’ offices looking for free ‘information’. ---

A kid is going around the schoolyard with a bag offering other kids “intelligence pills”, as soon as you take them you become smarter. One kid buys some, chews them up and swallows them and then says, “Hey these aren’t tablets, they’re just rabbit shit.” And the vendor says, “See, smarter already.” ---

Very briefly, it’s about splitting up their former home (where they had a business together) and in case it’s terribly boring and unremarkable. That’s not the issue though - it is necessary to read these tldr threads before you realise that the reality is she’s still in love with her ex, or at least obsessed with him. And acting crazily because of it. No quotes I can give you will convince you of this, so just take a few hours off, get a cup of tea (or, I suppose, in the US, coffee) and read the threads having in mind that interpretation. And it will all make sense then 🙂 ---
