He likes to look at my feet, so I always take my socks off unless we’re doing it in the dark (rare) and he can’t see them anyway. I guess I have the same preference since he looks silly with just socks on. But in the dark, who cares? ---

I am male, 46. I take mine off. When I was young I was watching some sitcom with Valerie Bertinelli and her older sister was dating am much older man and Valerie said something like: I’ll bet he does it with his socks on. Since Val was hot at the time it made an impression in my young inexperienced mind and so I always take my socks off now. If a woman leaves hers on? Heck, as long as the fun parts are naked, I don’t care. ---

Socks with nothing else looks so stupid that when getting dressed I tend not to put socks on before pants. It bugs me. Therefore I demand that all persons engaged in relations in my bed be barefoot. It’s one of those utterly bizarre, unexplainable laws of nature: a naked woman wearing socks (any type of socks) is sexy; a naked guy wearing socks is just ridiculous, like a pot-bellied man in a turtleneck, or a bald man with a comb-over. ---

1. Male or female? Female 2. Do you ever leave your socks on during sex? No, not unless I’m almost fully dressed. When cold, I have left them on during foreplay. If I’d still been cold after that, sex would not be entering the equation. Partner’s never mentioned any preference. 3. Does your partner ever wear socks during sex? Barely wears socks around the house. Have glimpsed a sock pre-sex but it quickly came off. Sweat socks on a naked man just scream gawky, inexperienced teen. Dress socks make me think of a stodgy old man, or someone who’ll rush things then hop in his clothes and run to a meeting. Neither put me in the mood. ---

I’m so opposed to socks during the standard naughty that I gasped with shock and an involuntary “NO!” when I read the title of the thread. Female here, and I will stop a man who is wearing socks from proceeding any further until the offending pair has been removed. I don’t mind with another female if the footwear in question is fancy (thigh high, or inside of a wicked sexy boot, etc). For the record, I refuse to sleep or even masturbate with my socks on, unless they are of the aforementioned fancy variety. And no, I don’t mean that I sleep with thigh highs or wicked sexy boots on. Socks are for shoes, people. ETA: and shoes and socks in porn bug the hell outta me. Let me see those sexy feet! (Mine are kinda yuck, I need to live vicariously through other people’s feet, dammit!) ---
