Since we have a [poll](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=510611) about the 5 most important books of the Bible, let’s have a poll about about the 5 least important.

1. Leviticus
2. I Timothy
3. II Timothy
4. Titus
5. Song of Solomon

All the NT. 🙂

As for the real Bible, I just have one candidate: Malachi, where my haftorah portion came from. so short that I got to sing most of it in Hebrew. At the very end also. I know Christians think this is some premonition of Jesus, but I didn’t see no Jesus in the Hebrew. As far as I can tell, totally pointless. But short.

Psalm, Song of Solomon, and…what are the NT books where pretty much the same story is told by different people? We only really need one version.

Song of Solomon is awesome poetry… and often quite erotic, too. Taken together with Ecclesiastes, it’s also part of a fascinating portrait of a bipolar mind.

Myself, I’d drop Chronicles A and B. Nothing there that we haven’t seen before, and better.

I would amend that to include:

1. All the New Testament
2. All the Old Testament
