Hmm. 1. I prefer my chocolate dairy, but most comercial milk chocolate is pretty lo quality stuff. So I guess I like dark chocolate - with milk. 2. Red wine, of course. 3. Beef, although poultry has its advantages. My part of the world, it’s much easier to get some good chicken than it is to find a decent cut of beef. 4. Instant. Got a problem with that? ---

Which of the following types of coffee roast do you prefer?** c) dark roast Other, possibly useless, data points (although I feel there is some relation between them): I like the crispy end slice of roasted meats, the crispy skin on chicken, bacon rind, the crispy outer shell of roast potatoes etc. I like the crust on bread, more than the inside but especially the dark top crust. I like the skin that forms on custard and blancmange. I like the rind on cheese (esp Brie, Camenbert etc) more than the cheese. I like Marmite, soy sauce, worcester sauce, Bovril, Twiglets. I like Licorice, especially the harder, chewy sort. ---

I would like to express my sorrow for all those posters who admitted a preference for white wine and dark meat, or red wine and light meat. Forever forced to drink a wine they do not prefer depending on the entree… I, myself, prefer white chocolate, sweet mead, pork, and medium roast coffee with lots of milk. What a total wuss. ---

Nobody says you have to drink red and red white and white. I drink Pinot Grigio or Riesling with just about anything. Give me a good auslese anytime. ---

If it’s not too late - Milk-to-dark chocolate (is there such a thing?) ie: a plain ol’ Hershey bar or a non-bitter dark. There is NO SUCH THING as white chocolate. Red wine Beef Medium-roast. I want flavor, but I still want caffeine. French roast not only has much of its caffeine roasted out, but it rips my innards to shreds. ---

How did I miss this? 1. Milk chocolate - followed by white. I don’t like dark chocolate at all. 2. White wine, sweet ones - reislings. (Especially white ice wines…sweet) 3. beef & pork. 4. medium to dark - but I pour sugar into them.
