I don’t have any cufflinks. When I could borrow some, I wore one from time to time. ---

I have no idea what French cuffs are. Are they the frilly ones from the 18th century? French clothing = frilly, right? ---

Shirts with long cuffs that are folded back and require cuff links. I think they’re also called double cuffs. ---

I love 'em, but they do denote a certain level of formality. Ever since I acquired a dress shirt with French cuffs, it’s my go-to option for dressing up, but for everyday button-ups, French cuffs are pretty rare. I think you really need to be wearing a vest or, preferably, a coat for them to look their best, anyways. ---

I find it very difficult to put on cufflinks without help. In my working world, french cuffs = rich, showoffy law firm partner. ---

I have one such shirt, and one set of cufflinks to go with it. I wear it whenever I have occasion to, which is not terribly often (weddings, anniversaries, etc.) ---

I own a tux and several formal shirts, all with French cuffs, requiring cuff links and studs. The only times I wear them are my chorus’ concerts and art gallery openings. And a great reminder that I’m gaining weight is: the studs keep popping out of the button holes. ---

Never heard them called French cuffs before but a quick google showed me that they’re what I wear almost every day at work… ---

I like them, but they’re at least a step more formal than what I’d wear to work for the most part (which is anywhere from business casual to suited up, depending on what’s on the schedule). Thus, they only come out to play a few times a year. ---

I only wear them to court, moot court, and job interviews - but with those caveats, I’m a fan. They give me a chance to wear the cufflinks my clinic-mates gave me as a law school graduation gift.
