Because it’s close to Halloween, that means you can find those monster cerals that you never see any other time of the year. I just picked up a boatload from Target for [del]myself[/del] my kids. So what’s your favorite? In the in interest of being thorough, I have also included the short lived Fruit Brute and Yummy Mummy selections. ---

Am I crazy, or is the “formula” for Frankenberry and/or Booberry way different than it used to be? The cereal seems lighter, or crisper, or somehow less substantial. ---

Incredibly, though I grew up in the age where all these cereals were readily available, I’ve never actually tried any of them (probably because back then, I had little control over what my parents choosed to buy for our breakfast). Kinda wish they made mini-boxes of them so I can get a variety pack and see what I missed… ---

Ma had some rule against sugared cereal, and now that I fancy myself some sort of grown up, I do too. But I do know for a fact that Count Chocula tastes like ass. ---

I wondered about this too. I used to love BooBerry but I bought some and it was horrible. Same with Frankenberry. Of course it could be I just liked the sugary taste when I was a kid but not now. Then again, I still like Count Chocula then and now ---

I’m old enough that I had Fruit Brute as a young kid, and while my memory might be skewed by youth and nostalgia I voted for it anyway. I still get at least one box of each every year around this time, and occasionally at other times during the year when the mood strikes me. ---

Oddly, though I am not a fan of blueberries by themselves or in anything, I love BooBerry. Of course, that’s because it’s all sugar and no real blueberries, but still… 🆒 I also enjoy FrankenBerry and Count Chocula, just less so. ---

I thought they stopped making all of them except for Count Chocula - at least I haven’t really seen the others in a long time. (Well, maybe occasionally.) ---

This thread is quite [timely](http://www.pvponline.com/2009/10/16/milking-it/). Frankenberry could totally take Count Chocula down, but Booberry could handle either one, if he’s prepared. And Booberry’s always prepared. ---

I voted for Frankenberry. I haven’t had any for decades, but that was my choice back then. If I had to pick _any_ sugary kids cereal today it would be Cap’n Crunch with Crunchberries. It’s not a scary cereal, but it’s kinda costumey. ---

I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had any of the monster cereals ever. For that, I guess I’ll just go with Booberry. There’s plenty of flavored stuff out there with chocolate and strawberry, but nothing else for blueberry. Poor lil guy. ---
