I have not seen any Trump ads here (western Washington) but I am not looking forward to them.

We have Republicans running for local positions who have spots on TV and the radio, but their ads seem to be distancing themselves from Trump, unlike the midterm ads from 2 years ago where we had clear MAGA messaging. Not that they are denouncing him or anything, but they seem to be focusing on things like public safety and the economy, and staying away from many of Trump’s major talking points (Democrats are crooked, identity politics stuff, anti-immigration).

Then again, we just finished our primary, and things might change as we get closer to the general election.

I don’t blame you.

I did have to chuckle to think of what genius decided to run the ad I described on MSNBC. I doubt the target audience watches. If it was intended to trigger people like me, all I can say is, by all means, spend your money on trying to do that.
