Public Jr. High and High School in the late 1960s and early 1970s in Utah. It’s been over 30 years and I don’t remember all the details, but we got evolution, no creationism.
Even in elementary school I remember the chart with the cells turning into fish, the fish crawling onto land, the land crawlers turning into apes, the apes in men.
A little more detail in Jr. High and High School, of course, and I don’t ever remember any qualifying “only a theory” stuff.
I think I may have had a teacher or two along the way who may have tried to throw in some mention of “god’s plan”, but what Jr. High kid ever listened to a teacher anyway?
