Mine are a very, very dark brown. At times–they appear almost black. ---

Blue eyes, red hair. Mum’s that way too. Never met any redheads with an eye colour other than blue, actually… ---

Blue/grey, though they can go kinda blue green, depending on what I’m wearing. ---

My son is a fair-skinned, very freckled red-head. His eyes were green when he was little; now that he is older (9) they are more hazel. ---

I wouldn’t describe myself as a redhead unless the sun was hitting me just right (natural highlights), but I’ve had a significant number of people tell me I’m “strawberry blond.” I think they need to get their vision tested right quick, but FWIW my eyes are blue-gray. ---

redhead, dark brown eyes. I’m a “Polish redhead” not an “Irish redhead” do you think that has anything to do with it? I don’t think blue eyes are very common in Eastern Europe. (AFAIK the main pockets of red hair are in Ireland/UK and Poland/Eastern Europe.) ---

Brown eyes, Mother has Brown eyes, which are dominent and brown hair. Father has red hair, I don’t know about the eyes though. ---

Yah, I think that has something to do with it. IME, dark eyed redheads are more likely to be of Eastern European origin. My family is from Eastern Europe. You should see our family gatherings–it’s like a brown-eyed redhead convention. FWIW, we’re also Jewish. ---

Another vote for brown here… my hair has been called “strawberry blond” like **Rosebud** ’s, whatever the hell that means. I just call it “red”, and my eyes are dark brown. ---

I was born a pale blonde with red highlights (my hair really looked pink), stayed blonde until about 25 - my hair’s now kind of light reddish dark blonde/light brown. I normally call it “dead grass brown” - I wish I had glorious auburn locks) but everyone tells me I’m a redhead. My eyes are pale blue-grey with flecks of green. My sister, a true redhead from birth, also has blue eyes. ---

My hair used to be red naturally, but it has gotten darker over the years (and for some bizarre reason everytime I was pregnant it got darker) and is now a dark auburn. My eyes are hazel. My (pale red haired) mother’s eyes are emerald green. Dammit. ---

The kid who sat across from me in 9th grade was a carrot top with the brightest green eyes I have ever seen. They were almost a jade or a spring green, light in hue yet brilliantly intense,quite startling. Never seen anything like it before or since. ---
