I’m surprised at some of these choices. Madeline Stowe is a beaute though. Beautiful but not sexy or particularly alluring would be Christy Turlington. She has a timeless face that could represent “woman” in any picture we shoot into outerspace. At least white woman. Ava Gardner in her prime. ---

shrew, I have to agree with you about Elizabeth Taylor. Even as a child she was stunning in an almost adult way. Violet eyes, porcelain skin, black hair and a double row of black eyelashes. ---

I found a photo of Elizabeth Taylor with her mother at about the age of two. Although it’s not her prettiest childhood photo, you can get an idea of how early she was an unusual beauty. If I may, I would like to nominate my SO Pam as the most beautiful woman who ever lived. She will not agree with me, but she bewitched me from the moment I first laid eyes on her. She has a set of eyes that makes my heart melt everytime she looks at me, and she has an inner sweetness and calm that never fail to make me feel at ease. Well that was flattering, I brought up the pictures of Evelyn Nesbit and my daughter said “look mommy, its you.” Zhang Ziyi. Always thought Michelle Pfeiffer was worth looking at. Ingrid Bergman And the aforementioned Ms. Hepburn. ---

I’m sorry, but polls are for matters of opinion, and it is a _fact_ that the most beautiful woman in the world is my beloved Renee. I would post a link to her picture, but I would find no joy in your dispair for having to settle, at best, for second best. ---

My picks are: Maureen O’Hara: She was gorgeous in her youth, breathtaking in her maturity, and still beautiful in advancing years. Ingrid Bergman: As she appeared in “Casablanca” I would have died (or killed) for her. Audrey Hepburn: Sheer elegance. I’m an old guy, but of the current crop, Jennifer Garner winds my clock. I really don’t understand the folks who find Grace Kelly beautiful. She absolutely leaves me cold. But “beauty is in the eye…” and all that. ---
