Well I’ve collated all the results (it was either that or delete lots of boring email addresses from a huge spreadsheet, and I can think of better ways to use Excel). The results are terrifically corrupt and unscientific, with multiple votes and so on, and of course beauty is subjective, so nothing is proved at all by this. Anyone who isn’t ‘famous’ (i.e. SOs, etc. - I particularly liked **MrO’s** post) I have regretfully not included, and anyone with only one or two votes. So, with three votes each I give you (alphabetically): **Isabelle Adjani** (I add one vote for her myself here - I forgot how utterly jaw-dropping she is). **Catherine Deneuve Ava Gardner Sophia Loren Gwyneth Paltrow Elizabeth Taylor** With four votes each, I give you: **Laetitia Casta Vivien Leigh** But the winners by a long margin, with equal 9 votes each are: **Audrey Hepburn Grace Kelly** ---

Oh, I forgot Sophie Marceau and Frederique - I think her last name is van der Waal? The Victoria’s Secret model. If I had to look like another person, she’s probably the one I’d pick. Just perfectly gorgeous. ---

The name is Frederique van der Wal, and she’s Dutch. (feeling of nationalistic pride sweeps past) Can I still add a vote for Isabelle Adjani? I think votes for her should count for more, since she’s smaller than the other contestants. ---

A fellow will remember a lot of things you wouldn’t think he’d remember. You take me. One day, back in 1896, I was crossing over to Jersey on the ferry, and as we pulled out, there was another ferry pulling in, and on it there was a girl waiting to get off. A white dress she had on. She was carrying a white parasol. I only saw her for one second. She didn’t see me at all, but I’ll bet a month hasn’t gone by since that I haven’t thought of that girl. ---

I think Alicia Silverstone. I could also handle looking like Catherine Zeta Jones, Natalie Portman or Monica Bellucci. I think Christy Turlington is actually ugly. Her eyes are asymetrical and her smile looks like a horse. Mel. ---
