A local roaster, Alterra. Their espresso roast, which I grind at home for my espresso machine.

The only one of those brands that even remotely tastes like coffee is Peet’s. I prefer an independent source, such as [Counterculture Coffee](http://counterculturecoffee.com)

Montreal’s Café Dépôt chain isn’t too bad.

By the way, Tim Horton’s is in the United States too. IT’s not bad.

I’m a big fan of \*\*Pride of Arabia \*\*- strong and rich and yummy. Loaded with tons of cream. I’m drinking some right now!

It can be hard to find. I buy the beans at the Canadian Superstore (Loblaws) chain, which I don’t really like, but the coffee makes it worth the trip.

Tassimo for when I’m too lazy to make a full pot.
