I guess I did get mixed up, what I was talking about was the 20 years specified in the OP.

The OP refers to culture around where she is, not something she can watch on TV. A **cultural couch potato** is an **oxymoron**. Hell, I saw an opera once when I was channel surfing and have been to King Tut’s tomb on the Discovery Channel, but that doesn’t count.
