I was a long haired Hippie VW mechanic in Santa Cruz, CA during the 60s and 70s. My buddies and I were often as chronically stoned as Dennis Hopper in Easy Rider. ---

Yup. Was quite heavily into it from mid 2003 till mid 2005. Haven’t done it that much lately (last time was Christmas Day), but I’d still describe myself as ‘someone who smokes pot’. ---

Yes, mostly as a teenager, but I started up again about five years ago when I was working as a painter. I haven’t done it in quite some time though, around two years. Started making me too nervous. I swear the stuff has changed since I was a kid. ---

Yes, but not for a long time, basically for the reasons given above. Plus, the last few times I tried it (a good 4 plus years ago) it was absolute crap compaired to what the '80s had. I’m guessing the '80s stash was pale in compairison to the '60s stash. ---

Use to but quit shortly after I quit smoking cigarettes in 1993. Didn’t make sense to quit smoking one and not the other. ---

Before I had my daughter, I could smoke an entire joint myself and discuss the meaning of life for hours. I quit when I was pregnant, smoked once when she was an infant, and spent the next few hours jumping up to check on her every time there was a noise in the house. Didn’t do it again for years. When I did try it again, I found that I’d take two hits and I couldn’t follow an episode of Seinfeld. I pretty much lost whatever small interest I’d still had at that point. That said, I still think that if youth must be misspent, it’s better misspent stoned than drunk.
