Never. When I was 12 we moved to a new flat. The son of the other family in our floor was about 5 years older than me; he always looked kind of scruffy and smelled sickeningly sweet (I don’t even have a sweet tooth, much less a sweet nose). You could tell when he’d used the lift. I found out what that stench was a couple years later, the first time a friend’s bf offered me pot - they kept saying “c’mon, it’s cool, you hafta” and I ketp seeing my neighbor - YUCK! I had the theory that half of the “effects” were actually self-hypnosis, and from what I’ve seen in more-adult pot smokers, I was right. ---

I smoked it when I was coming off of a legal uppers/downers addiction. I doubt that I would have survived kicking the pills without it. Once I recovered, I had no interest in smoking it again. I preferred wine. ---

I’m 41. I’ve never tried it. I think it should be legal though. I’ve just never been interested in it myself. ---

I tried it once, aged about 25, and not only did it do nothing for me, but it hurt my throat too. The reason for that being perhaps that I’ve never smoked tobacco. (I never ever was tempted to try tobacco, because none of the tobacco smokers I knew, including my parents, ever said it had any benefits). Back when I tried it for that one time, I knew lots of people who smoked grass. Now, I suspect that two of my four children smoke grass pretty regularly. Fortunately, they live in Australia, where the law and the police are more relaxed about marihuana than they are in the US. ---

Yes. Since I was 16 and I’m 34 now. I love pot, but I race my bike now and that has become pretty important to me. The last time I smoked was last fall when all my races were over and I was taking it easy for a month. It’s a wonderful drug. Great high. Natural. Tastes good. Smells good. Doesn’t leave you hung over. It’s just the cardiac issues with me right now, and it’s not even that bad in that regard if you don’t smoke every day and use the right paraphenalia. ---

Never have. Had the offer maybe twice in my life. I abhor smoking, so the appeal is minimal. I have a small curiousity simply because I’d like to know what it actually felt like, but that’s it. I’m a 30 year-old male, if that matters. ---

Nope, not ever. I’m 29. I grew up in the 80’s, and I guess Nancy Reagan got to me - “Just Say No,” and I did. Not that I was offered it, ever, in high school (I graduated in '95). Didn’t hang out with the right crowd, I suppose. I’ve been offered it since, but have always refused. I don’t smoke, and it never appealed to me enough to give it a try. Perhaps I should, one of these days. Hell, perhaps I have - there were \*clouds \*of it at last week’s Korn concert! Funny story - my father-in-law planted some zinnia’s in his garden last summer. Apparently he got a little extra in his pack of seeds, because he was soon carefully cultivating a marijuana plant (naturally, he would’ve professed ignorance and promptly destroyed it should the cops ever have inquired about it 😉 ). He tended it carefully, then cut it and smoked it when the time was ripe. Apparently it wasn’t much good. ---

About ten or fifteen times. But I have no clue how to roll a joint myself. So by necessity it’s a social thing. (Then again, considering I couldn’t even make a paper airplane until I was 21, this particular inability of mine is not surprising.) ---

twice, both times it did very bad things to me. Once I lost muscle control in my legs and couldn’t stand on my own. The other time it left me on the floor unable to move, though I could communicate and see what was going on. I decided then that it wasn’t worth ever doing again. I don’t recognize the smell unless someone tells me what it is and haven’t been offered any in years, though I know plenty of people that use it. ---

Yes, since 1968. I’ve been a heavy user at times, but have usually averaged mostly just a few tokes after work or on weekends. Since I quit cigarettes just over a year ago, I’ve only smoked pot maybe two or three times. I’ll probably continue to partake on a very casual basis. ---

I’ve rolled far more pot that I’ve ever smoked. I’m great at it. I used to roll for the ex (who put pot way ahead of me and Kid Kalhoun in his list of priorities). You can always buy a pipe, though I’ve never been a fan of them. ---

Way too much. I messed around with pot when I was on college (1995 - 1999), and then I spent most of 1999 and 2000 stoned of my ass morning, noon, and night. I haven’t smoked any pot since early 2002. Somewhere along the line I just lost interest in it. I’m 29, by the way. ---
