Never. Even when I had jobs where I didn’t have to pee in a bottle, I never had any desire to smoke pot. Or cigarettes, for that matter. ---

Did in High School, stopped in the Navy, smoked a little when I got out and then pretty much stopped. I usually drink very lightly these days too. Jim ---

Never. The stuff was omnipresent when I was in college, but I was never particularly tempted. I always figured that my brain was the only thing I had going for me, so mind-altering substances weren’t such a great idea. Never been out and out drunk, either, although I’ve probably approached tipsy once or twice. ---

Weed, hash, oil - but I haven’t for more than a decade. I used to really like hash, but it’s hard to get in these parts, and really, I can’t imagine many things looking stupider than a 33 year old woman in a designer suit, handbag and shoes, with knife burns accross her mouth. 😉 ---

Nope, not me. I am another that has never even smoked a regular cigarette, and had NO desire to. BTW, I am almost 46, female, and graduated high school in 1978. ---

Yes. For five years I smoked hash every day, then started getting paranoid when I was stoned, and largely stopped. I occasionally have some, but I’ve really knocked it on the head since the [bhang lassi incident](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?p=2499902#post2499902) (though I did have a small toke last weekend, but instantly regretted it). ---
