I really like that Dodge La Femme, pretty classy (but then, i’m a femme). That whole accessory bit should be used again, and updated, with, say, a nice little tampon case that fits in the dash just so. I think the most Girly car award should go to the [Mary Kay Cadillac](http://www.mkunits.net/brendaatchley/Brenda's%20Pink%20Cadillac.jpg) , cause you gotta sell a whole lotta makeup, and wear it, to get one. Not that there’s anything wrong with that… ---

On a side note, Ford has announced that they are making their Mercury division the ‘women’s car’ division. They will be targeting all their Mercury cars specifically at women, with special accessories, colors, etc. “If I had money, I tell you what I’d do, I’d go downtown and buy a Mercury or two, I’m crazy about a Mercury…” ---

I gotta confess, that YCC is actually a pretty decent looking car. I’d drive one that wasn’t outfitted with chick accessories. I think the bulbous front fenders are the hallmark of girlyness, and I’d like to see 'em flattened out. I like the interior layout too. ---

Yikes! That new Vulvy is way past yond for me. From the above mentioned Vulvy website: “Parallel parking assistance is a function both males and females requested. In the YCC, this is a two-stage system. When you need to park between two other cars, but first want to make sure there will be enough space, you press the parking assistance button once for the space-check function. If the system says yes, you can then select the Autopark function by pressing the same button again. The car helps you with the steering to manoeuvre you into the parking space, but you control the accelerator, brakes and gearshift. Autopark streamlines your parallel parking with flair.” _Gak_ maybe in Sweden… ---

I don’t get this way of thinking that any particular body type car is feminine or masculine, particularly convertibles. For many of us old enough to remember the Great Convertible Dearth of the 1970s, when the only ones available were expensive imports, the very idea of owning any convertible is still alluring enough to put aside any such misgivings that a car doesn’t match my gender. I do think the **color** is probably more a function of the buyer’s gender than the body type, although it has been my impression that women buyers are more apt to go for the practical, making convertibles generally slightly more attractive to the _male_ buyer. ---

The only time I’ve seen a VW Cabriolet being driven by a man… it was my friend, and he’s gay. Hate to stereotype but… the Cabriolet is a total chick car. ---
