# Poll: Who here has been (clinically) dead?

I got electrocuted when I was a kid… grabbed an air compressor to fill up an innertube after swimming… soaking wet… an _ungrounded_ air compressor, I should say… when I was found I was not breathing, no heart beat, nada… dead kid. Had an out-of-body experience… I was hovering in the rafters watching when my sisters arrived, and I saw my Dad start CPR, then drifted up the stereotypical bright tunnel… I felt very welcome, if somewhat premature… then came to looking at paramedics.

My ex crashed into a tree headon when he was 9 years old and was declared dead in the hospital. He had the last rites. But, he came around and then I met him on the date of his “death”, which my ex mother-in-law used to remind me of all the time.
