# Poll: Will SCOTUS rule that Trump's tax returns must be released?

I absolutely guarantee you that that is what will happen. And any ruling they make will be appealed again.

Thomas Freedman in yesterday’s NY Times said that Biden should refuse a debate with Trump unless Trump releases his tax returns (but how will we know they aren’t fake?) and insists that 10 minutes be allotted at the end of the debate for fact checkers to refute everything that Trump has said.

Trump is [STILL trying to claim](https://twitter.com/SlackerInc/status/1281470420781236224?s=20) he’s eager to release his tax returns, just as soon as that pesky audit (five years running now, at minimum) is over. 🙄
