is there a way to find out which poll/thread has the highest number of voters? ---

It was discussed in [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=611029). The top two found then were both on the same subject: [How old are you?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=610944) (started by **Anaamika** ) with 691 votes. [How old are you?](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=554352) (started by me) with 600 votes ---

thanks for the reply! 600 votes. seems kinda low considering the 7000 odd “active members”. ---

There’s a sizeable Lurker community here. Even so, Lurkers can remain unknown in polls that don’t identify the Voters. It’s anybody’s guess how many have voted as their only contribution to the content of this board. ---

Plus, there are a significant number of members who stay mainly in one section of the board, rarely or never venturing out into the other fora. They probably never even saw those IMHO threads.
