['Lil Red Riding Hood](https://youtu.be/b_K5b-JNc7E) is a classic and one of my favorite songs from the '60s. The Beach Boys are one of my favorite bands of all time and the Who are in the top 10. Nothing else from the list makes it. ---

I chose the Stones because they had a number one album in six different decades. If a band spans that length of time yet puts out number ones they must have their finger on the pulse. Mick is now 78? They did quite well considering the timing of their switch to a more commercially-friendly sound was in the midst of peak grunge. They were just following Metallica’s lead, but still they were successful at it. _Countdown to Extinction_ and _Youthanasia_ were #2 and #4 albums, respectively. If anything, their problem is they were _too_ prolific; they put out a new album every 2-3 years from their beginning in 1985 all the way until 2016, and lots of live albums and compilations in between. Their product is very diluted. ---

Like, whoa man, I only listen to bands no one’s ever heard of… daddy-o. . (I voted Other because I scrolled through my phone and realized none of the music was by even a Mini-Mega Group.) Most of ‘my’ music is lesser-known bands from the British Invasion, other countries, or current stuff I found on YouTube. My “other” for a fourth pick would have been R.E.M. (I also love me some Jethro Tull, but I’d admit they’re not quite a “supergroup” by this poll’s standards). My top three were Beatles, Stones, and Zep.
