# Polling now enabled in Elections \[edited title\]

I wanted to start a poll on which SCOTUS justices might retire if President Obama were to be re-elected. When I got finished, I was surprised to find that polls weren’t allowed there. Is this by design or an oversight? Which forum would be appropriate for such a poll?

That sounds like a fine IMHO topic … where polling is allowed.

I would mention that I don’t even look in IMHO regularly. So a poll there with an election topic isn’t likely to be seen by me. I think you’d be more likely to get a stronger response of those specifically interested in the topic if the thread were allowed in Elections.

Done, and polling is now enabled in Elections. So I’ve edited the thread title, which was “How about allowing polls in the Elections forum?”
